Access

The hotel is just a 1-minute walk from Osaka Metro’s Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station, and within walking distance from Honmachi Station as well. Major areas like Umeda, Namba, and Shinsaibashi are easily accessible.

It’s also convenient for travelers coming from Kansai International Airport or Itami Airport by train or bus, making it ideal for both business and leisure.

Check-In

Marriott Bonvoy Platinum Elite members and above can access the club lounge and may be eligible for room upgrades. It’s recommended to confirm these perks during check-in.

Note: Even for Platinum Elite, breakfast is not free; the discount is 1,500 JPY off the regular 3,000 JPY fee.

I chose amenities and received cider and snacks as part of the check-in perks.

Rooms

The rooms have a simple yet stylish design with a calm monochrome palette.

Room size: approx. 25㎡, more spacious than a typical business hotel.

Work desk: a bit small, not ideal for extended work.

Bed: standard Marriott comfort, with soft and firm pillow options.

Bathroom: stylish, with strong water pressure and quality amenities.

Club Lounge

Located on the 19th floor, the club lounge offers services depending on the time of day:

Afternoon Tea (15:00–17:00)
Coffee, tea, muffins, cookies, and chocolates. A perfect spot for work or reading in a calm environment.

Cocktail Time (17:30–19:30)
Wine, beer, cocktails, cheese, prosciutto, salad, and hot meals. While not extensive, the high-quality offerings are sufficient for a light dinner.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served buffet-style at STITCH on the 1st floor:

  • Freshly baked croissants
  • Egg station (omelets, scrambled eggs)
  • Salad and fresh fruits
  • Japanese dishes (rice, miso soup, grilled fish)
  • Healthy smoothies

The chef-made omelets and wide variety of breads, including Danish and baguettes, were especially satisfying.

Large Public Bath

One of the hotel’s biggest attractions is the large bath:

Public Bath (15:00–10:00 next day)
Spacious tubs ideal for relaxing after a long day. Note: there’s no sauna, but having a large bath in central Osaka is a rare convenience.

Fitness Gym (24-hour access)
Equipped with the latest machines, towels, and water dispensers – perfect for maintaining your workout routine.

Surrounding Area

The hotel is close to popular Osaka attractions:

  • Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori (approx. 15-minute walk)
  • Osaka Castle (approx. 10 minutes by train)
  • Umeda / Grand Front Osaka (approx. 10 minutes by train)

Many nearby cafes and restaurants make it ideal for cafe hopping or enjoying Osaka’s gourmet scene.
