Hello, this is Masao!
Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka, located in Uehommachi, Osaka, offers outstanding convenience as it is directly connected to Kintetsu Osaka Uehommachi Station.
It’s perfect for both business and sightseeing.
In this article, I’ll share my detailed experience, including the club lounge access, breakfast at the restaurant “eu,” and overall stay.

Access: Directly Connected to the Station
Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka is directly connected to Kintetsu Osaka Uehommachi Station, making it easy to check in even on rainy days.
Limousine buses to Kansai International Airport and Itami Airport also operate from here.
With direct train access to Shin-Osaka and Namba, the hotel is a convenient base for sightseeing in Osaka.
Guest Rooms
I stayed in a Comfort Twin room.
The room features a simple yet chic design, and the bed is very comfortable.

The working desk is spacious enough for business use.

Bath amenities are original Sheraton products with a pleasant fragrance that makes relaxing easy.

The bathroom is a unit type but very clean and comfortable.

Club Lounge
The club lounge offers different services depending on the time of day: breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hour.
Breakfast (7:00–10:00)
A calm lounge atmosphere with a Western-style buffet. The egg station serves fluffy omelets that are absolutely delicious.
Afternoon Tea (15:00–17:00)
Enjoy light snacks, sweets, tea, and coffee. A variety of cakes and baked goods make it perfect for taking a break between sightseeing or work.
Cocktail Time (17:30–19:30)
Wine, beer, cocktails, cheeses, ham, and hors d’oeuvres are available. The variety of cheeses is impressive, making it ideal for a light drink before dinner.

Breakfast Buffet
On the 2nd floor, the restaurant “eu” offers a Japanese and Western buffet, different from the club lounge.

Freshly baked croissants and a variety of breads
Chef’s special omelets and onigiri (with selectable fillings)
Kansai-style dashimaki tamago (rolled omelet)
Osaka specialties like takoyaki
The quality of the fruits and croissants is excellent, providing a satisfying start to the day.

Surrounding Area
The hotel is near historical spots and popular gourmet areas:
- Osaka Castle (15 min by train)
- Dotonbori & Shinsaibashi (10 min by train)
- Shinsekai & Tsutenkaku (20 min by train)
Uehommachi also has many hidden local restaurants, perfect for enjoying authentic Osaka cuisine.
Summary
Pros:
✔ Directly connected to the station, excellent access
✔ Well-equipped club lounge services
✔ Delicious and varied breakfast
✔ Convenient facilities
Cons:
△ The building shows some age
△ Views are limited unless you are on a high floor
Sheraton Miyako Hotel Osaka offers a great balance of convenience, comfort, and service. Utilizing the club lounge makes the stay even more luxurious, so I highly recommend it.
During busy periods, such as exhibitions, the hotel fills up quickly, so early booking is essential!
